Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to handle pilots and R&D projects in energy storage space
- Initiate development projects of new product features and fine-tune existing ones
- Engage customers to identify market needs and technical product requirements
- Provide support for on-site test, product validation, and mass production
Requirements:
- Degree holder (or above) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, or relevant disciplines
- 5+ years of experience in electronic product research and development
- 3+ years of solid experience in embedded C firmware development
- 2+ years of project management experience
- Well-versed with battery management systems for different types of batteries, cell chemistries, different attributes of BMS, and having the expertise to manage firmware/hardware teams to deliver the product.
- Architect the complete embedded software for the battery management system (BMS) as well as integrate the control algorithms utilizing the appropriate engineering tools and considering the BMS overall requirements
- Hands-on experience in electrical & electronic wiring, testing as well as firmware debugging
- Expertise in cell balancing, SoX, and charging algorithms
- Solid experience and knowledge of mixed-signal circuits and various communication interfaces
- Lead functional safety analysis for the control architecture to comply with ISO-26262 standard and other automotive safety standards
- Knowledgeable in quality assurance systems and compliance
- Experience in IoT / automotive / energy storage/power electronics systems is a plus
- Knowledgeable in information technology and software application is a plus
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work out effective ideas creatively
- A quick learner and willing to pick up new skills spontaneously
- Good communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ready to work flexible hours and travel to customer locations
